Mozaic Group was formed with the intention of working with the best in the business. Mozaic Group, a Nevada corporation, is an expanding group of stellar researchers with proven expertise and a passion for research. We work seamlessly as a team to accomplish the goals of each engagement—recognizing that each role of the project is integral to achieving excellence overall.

Melissa LeHardy, partner at Mozaic Group, has over thirteen years of marketing research experience, including senior positions at Technology Research, Doxus, and Answers Research. She has been involved in all phases of quantitative and qualitative research, from design to analysis, and has managed countless multi-country international studies for clients including Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, Dell, HP, Symantec, Yahoo! and EMC. Melissa is experienced with high-level multivariate techniques including conjoint/discrete choice and segmentation. A Burke trained moderator, she has conducted thousands of focus groups, one on one interviews, online focus groups and bulletin boards, along with usability testing sessions with both business and consumer audiences.

Brian Van Houten, partner at Mozaic Group, has been involved in client and supplier side market research in both the high-tech and financial services industries since 1995. He’s had direct experience conducting all phases of domestic and international research, including moderating focus groups, conducting one-on-one interviews, and designing and analyzing surveys. His work has included projects focused on innovation, new product development, product optimization, customer satisfaction, pricing and positioning, concept testing, market sizing, and segmentation research. Prior to co-founding Mozaic Group, Brian was Vice President at Doxus/Market Strategies International. He has also held market research positions at Dell Computer, Capital One Financial and Answers Research.

Jennifer Beaver, project manager at Mozaic Group, brings a strong sense of client service and skillful organization to the team. With a keen eye for detail, she has a long history of successfully managing complex projects, including six years of service as the client and vendor liaison for a large international firm prior to joining Mozaic Group. Jennifer continues to grow her passion for market research by managing domestic and international qualitative and quantitative research studies. She holds a BA in Psychology from Oglethorpe University, with an emphasis on research and writing.

Matthew Boehm, research manager at Mozaic Group, has over 13 years of experience as a brand manager and marketing professional, with a background in consumer products, healthcare, technology and education. He holds an MA in Anthropology with an emphasis on the use of ethnographic research methods in the evaluation of products, services, and business practices. In addition to his ethnography expertise, he also has extensive experience as a qualitative researcher. Prior to joining Mozaic Group, Matthew managed the development and assessment of product programs, brand messaging, and communication strategies for a range of organizations including Kaiser Permanente, Time Inc., and the Creative Brands Group.

Jacob Brown, vice president at Mozaic Group, has led hundreds of qualitative and quantitative research studies on branding, positioning, messaging, satisfaction, pricing, segmentation, and product innovation. Jacob has extensive experience conducting both domestic and international research for leading technology companies, including Adobe, HP, Intel, Microsoft, Sybase, and Symantec. Jacob brings a strong strategic perspective to his projects, along with an in-depth understanding of the marketing challenges facing companies competing in the enterprise technology space.  His articles on Website Usability Research, Managing Online Surveys, and Conducting International Research have been published in Quirks and the AMA Marketing Journal.  Jacob began his research career at Mercer Management Consulting before becoming a partner at King, Brown & Partners, and later at In-Depth Research.

Bernadette DeLamar, PhD, vice president at Mozaic Group, brings a wealth of business and international experience to her technology industry clients. She is a seasoned moderator with 20+ years of experience designing and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research studies for Fortune 500 companies around the world. Her work has resulted in successful new product offerings, product patents, improved services, efficient routes to market as well as compelling message content and campaigns. Bernadette has held senior positions with Ipsos, Doxus/Market Strategies, TNS, and NOP/GfK, where she launched the US-based technology research unit. Her articles on motivation research and the effects of technology on respondent interactions have been published in industry periodicals and presented at ESOMAR Congresses. Bernadette is a graduate of the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University, and also holds a certificate in Risk Communications from Harvard School of Public Health.

Viet Do, research analyst at Mozaic Group, is an experienced researcher with a strong background in developing targeted research programs and providing strategic insight and actionable recommendations across a wide range of studies, industries, and methodologies. At Mozaic Group, Viet currently focuses on research design, analysis, and reporting for studies including strategic positioning, messaging, brand awareness/perceptions, profiling/segmentation, and licensing/pricing. Prior to joining Mozaic Group, Viet served as an analyst and research project manager for Penn Schoen Berland, where he successfully led numerous qualitative and quantitative studies.

Elaine Franz, project director at Mozaic Group, is an experienced researcher specializing in the management of multiphase, international research programs combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Prior to joining Mozaic Group, Elaine spent 4 years at Doxus/Market Strategies International, where she managed domestic and international research for technology and finance clients. Elaine’s breadth of experience includes new product development, positioning and messaging, pricing and satisfaction-related research as well as segmentation studies. Elaine began her market research career at Gartner, where she spent 6 years managing a wide variety of international research projects.

Amy Ryan, project director at Mozaic Group, is an experienced quantitative and qualitative researcher with a background in advanced technology. Prior to joining Moziac Group, Amy spent four years with Doxus/Market Strategies International, where she managed a wide range of international multi-phased studies while directing project management staff and PM operations for the company’s technology division. Additional market research experience was gained during the prior five years with Answers Research, where she served as a marketing consultant and Marketing Manager with marcom, sales and project management responsibilities. Previously, she held marketing roles in the corporate marketing division of Ziff Davis. Amy's extensive copywriting experience includes publishing several articles in marketing research and technology trade publications.

Kathryn Winland, research director at Mozaic Group, is a seasoned moderator and experienced researcher with a strong client focus and a holistic understanding of research—from design to implications. Prior to joining Mozaic Group, she was a senior analyst at Doxus/Market Strategies International where she was involved in all phases of both domestic and international research for technology clients. Prior to that, she worked at nQuery, a boutique market research firm where she was the lead project manager with a portfolio that included both qualitative and quantitative work for clients in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services and consumer packaged goods. Prior to nQuery, Kathryn worked as an editor for two Atlanta-based publishing and communications companies.
